Dr. Farid Lawandy is an influential figure in the field of accounting and auditing on both the Arab and international levels.

He currently holds several leadership positions, most notably: General Secretary of the Arab Federation of Accountants and Auditors, affiliated with the Economic Unity Council of the League of Arab States; Member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors; Member of the General Registry Committee for Accountants and Auditors at the Ministry of Finance.

Dr. Farid possesses professional experience extending over more than 30 years, a significant portion of which was spent as a Partner at the global firm "Deloitte."

He is also a Certified Accountant for banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, and industrial and commercial enterprises.

Furthermore, he has contributed his expertise as a Board Member and as Chairman and Member of Audit Committees in numerous major Egyptian companies and entities, Board Member of the Supreme Committee for Setting Egyptian Accounting Standards, formed by a decision from the Prime Minister, and Board member of Directors of the Independent Auditors' Oversight Unit-Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority – FRA.

Alongside his professional work, Dr. Farid also contributes to the academic field, teaching at universities, institutes, regulatory bodies, and ministries.
